Zimbabwe Health Interventions provides technical assistance  for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. ZHI provides support for cervical cancer screening i.e through visual inspection with acetic acid and cervicograph. It also supports same-day treatment services using thermocoagulation and cryotherapy. Loop Electro-surgical Excision Procedure (LEEP) services are also provided on scheduled times across its implementation districts. ZHI provided technical assistance for  and supported the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) DNA screening  pilot in one of the districts in Zimbabwe. The findings obtained will inform the national roll out of HPV DNA testing.  WHO recommends DNA testing as a first-choice screening method for cervical cancer prevention.
