Zimbabwe has made huge strides towards the UNAIDS/PEPFAR 95-95-95 targets. Zimbabwe Health Interventions supports the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC)’s HIV care and treatment program that is aimed at improving the HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS in the country. ZHI implements HIV programs to reduce the transmission of HIV in Zimbabwe. These programs focus on promoting safe sexual practices, advocating for the use of condoms, pre exposure and post exposure prophylaxis and providing education on HIV/AIDS prevention. ZHI, in its districts of operations supports MOHCC to expanded access to HIV testing and counselling services at community and health facility levels to ensure early detection and treatment initiation. ZHI implements HIV self-testing, the flagship index testing, and sexual network testing to improve efficiencies in HIV testing in a nation where more than 86% know their HIV status. ZHI supports implementation of differentiated service delivery (DSD) models of ART that ensures that clients are retained in care. These models include community models namely, Family ART refill groups, Community ART refill groups and health facility models namely Fast track models, Multi month dispensing etc. The TA that ZHI provides include:
